Description

Pravcicka brana is the biggest natural gate on the continent and it is our national natural monument. It is also considered to be the most beautiful place of the whole Bohemian Switzerland, representing the symbol of the whole area.

Its measures are amazing, but still, from the close view, they look even larger. The bow is 26.5m wide at the bottom, the opening is 16m high and 7-8m wide; minimum thickness is 3m. The upper plateau above the bottom measures out 21m.

From the entrance point you can follow paths and stairs to several views, where from you can overlook the monument itself, or enjoy the close or further surroundings.
